Carve it into the tree

This is not my original idea though I cannot remember where I saw the original.  I believe the original used a wood embossing folder as opposed to a wood background stamp.  Today is my parents; 49th wedding anniversary so I sent this card to them.  I just cut a heart out of plain craft cardstock and wrote their initials inside the cutout.  Super simple but I really liked it.

A little Crabby

 

I have been really grumpy lately between work and taking care of my very unpleasant, 86 year old  grandmother while my folks are out of town for a few months.  Anyway, like a small child I take my aggravation out on the one I love the most, my poor husband.  I love him with all my heart and have absolutely no idea how he puts up with me.  This card, an elaborate dinner and an apology is all I have at the moment to show him I really do know that I have been a grumpy bear the last few weeks.
